What is fluid acrylic painting? – This is an incredible hands-on class using the fluid acrylic pouring paint process. This art class in Rolesville, NC teaches different paint pouring methods where NO art experience or artistic training is necessary to have a fun creative time. Fluid acrylic painting is simply MAGIC happening right before your eyes! All supplies are included to create three paintings. Paintings will need to be left
for drying time and picked up the next Tuesday. This type of painting has no rules… it’s giving yourself the gift of time, accepting that you are ENOUGH just the way you are and finding your way back to your “Portal of Creativity”!
What do you mean Portal of Creativitity? I believe ART and painting is therapeutic and healing. Taking time out of a busy life to just be still… giving yourself the GIFT of time… tapping into the moment of NOW… using paint creates an amazing meditative flow which I call the “Portal of Creativity”. You lose ALL sense of time and you’re shocked when it’s time to clean up. Creating ART through painting begins to be addictive and you crave that feeling where you are happy, focused and engaged in what you are doing! Students often tell me that they can’t believe it’s time to stop creating when they are in that creative flow!
How will I FACILITATE FLUID ACRYLIC PAINTING CLASS?
- Provide several demonstrations on different pouring methods
- Provide assistance when mixing paint & floetrol
- Provide supplies to achieve different outcomes of pouring

- How to mix dirty pours
- How to use one cup pouring method vs. several cups
- How to use different materials to control fluid acrylic pours (show examples)
Will I need supplies for class? Supplies will be provided. However, students may bring extra stretched canvases to use in class (size 8×10, 9×12).
SUPPLIES provided at class:
- Paint
- Floetrol for creating cells
- Canvas panels
- Straws for blowing paint
- Toothpicks for drawing in paint
- Plastic strainers for pouring
- Small heat gun to create extra effects
What is the cost? Each individual class ticket for FLUID ACRYLIC PAINTING is $45 and DISCOUNT CARDS ($170 for four classes). You can also use your discount ticket to bring a friend sharing the AMAZING world of Soulful heART Studio. Supplies are included in cost of ticket except for extra small canvases you bring.
Are children allowed? Children are allowed to come to Private PAINTING Parties that have been scheduled.
Cancellation Policy: No money refunds however, you may add another class date onto your discount card. Send message on contact page to make sure there is space available if you need to reschedule a class.
